So you're having trouble with one of your Chromebooks connecting to the internet...We've got a temporary solution for you. There is a known issue with the network which prevents certain IP Addresses assigned to Chromebooks from getting through the firewall on our network. Surazal Systems and MCNC are working on this issue. In the meantime, if this accures, please use the following steps to remedy the issue.

  1. Open Google Chrome

  2. Press Ctrl + Alt + t

  3. Once the black screen opens type: ping 192.168.1.250

    • (Wait until sets of data start to automatically pop up)

  4. Once the data populates open a table in Google Chrome to confirm that the internet is working.

    • If the internet connects, close Google Chrome and reopen.

    • If not, please contact me at help@dillardacademy.org to submit a ticket

Best,

Ms. Bryant
